The 25th Annual Festival of Lights Parade begins at 5:50 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2009, in downtown Colorado Springs. This traditional holiday event delights thousands of children of all ages who line the streets to view the spectacular floats, bands, horse units and of course, Santa Claus.

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
"The Race to the Clouds" is the second oldest motor sports race in America. The race is run on a 12.42 mile course that begins at 9,390 feet and finishes at the 14,115 foot summit of Pikes Peak!

Ride for the Brand Championship Ranch Rodeo
Participating cowboys working on active ranches ride for the legendary brands that still represent the heart of America’s livestock industry today. July 2nd, 2010 is the longhorn cattle drive at high noon, downtown Tejon St., rodeo starts at 5:30 PM, July 3rd, at the Norris-Penrose Event Center.
