Christmas at Flying W Ranch

Festival of Lights Family Fun Day

Families are invited to join the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum for their annual FREE holiday celebration. On your way to the parade, stop by the Festival of Lights Open House at the CSPM Annex (located at 121 S. Tejon Street, Suite 100 in the Plaza of the Rockies). From 2:00pm – 6:00pm enjoy musical performances, crafts, face painting, and other family-friendly activities. Stop by starting at 6pm to warm up with hot chocolate and cookies. Holiday Evening at Rock Ledge Ranch

Buon Natale, an Italian Christmas Concert

Dive into the holiday season with this spectacular program featuring both vocal and instrumental gems from 18th century Italy. Hear the famous Corelli Christmas Concerto as well as works by the great Italian masters brought to life by Colorado Springs’ only professional period instrument ensemble. All pieces will be performed on period instruments and with a true baroque repertoire. Glen Eyrie Castle is also offering an optional Buffet dinner in the Castle Dining Room between the two concerts. The menu will be Italian style, of course!

Santa Express Train

This year, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad is introducing the ALL NEW Santa Express Train holiday locomotive, which will lead the train through the Royal Gorge to the North Pole and back. It’s an absolute holiday masterpiece and will delight children of all ages. During the journey, you and your family are welcome to order and enjoy lunch or dinner, as well as your favorites from our full bar, while we make our way through the Royal Gorge to pick up St. Nick. Once the guest of honor boards the train, Santa will greet every child and give each of them a very special gift.

Christmas Walking Tours

Welcome to The North Pole-Santa’s Workshop, an enchanting vintage amusement park nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Home to Santa’s Village and the jolly man himself – the spirit of Christmas lives on all year long here at The North Pole.
Dates: Holiday Season: November - December 24, 2024. Peak days are weekends in November & December and holiday weeks. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays except Holiday weeks.
Times: Vary on peak vs. non-peak days. The last wristband sold at 3:30 p.m. All rides close at 4:20 p.m. during the Holiday season.

Happy Holiday Market

Beginning November 30th, each Saturday the patio will transform into a holiday market filled with local vendors selling unique gifts and seasonal treasures, perfect for holiday shopping. The event will also feature songs & stories with Santa inside the lodge and free caroling hayrides that depart once an hour. A holiday drink menu for both adults and kids will warm spirits, complemented by seasonal treats from local food trucks.
Local artisans and vendors are encouraged to participate, with limited vendor space available. Interested vendors can contact events.bicycleresort@gmail.com to secure their spot. The fee is $50 whether vendors participate in one, or all five, holiday markets.

The winter solstice brings our longest, darkest night to the northern hemisphere. For centuries this event has been a call for celebration; come find out why! We’ll investigate old ways to celebrate this celestial event while creating new traditions. Our new tradition includes a luminary-candlelight night hike, ending at a warm campfire. Each family will work together to create a modern version of a Yule Log. Come dressed for the weather and prepared for outdoor activities. The Shops at Briargate have a full line-up of festive holiday celebrations that are sure to add some sparkle to your holiday season! From Santa & Mrs. Claus' arrival to family photos, and even visits from The Grinch and other holiday costumed characters, there's something for the entire family to enjoy.

Join McAllister House Museum for a wonderful Victorian Cream Tea in the carriage house and a tour of the oldest house in Colorado Springs! The Holiday Teas are offered on two separate days in December and there are two seatings available each. Be sure to make your reservations early, as they typically sell out!

Celebrate the howlidays with your pup at a festive day of fun! Enjoy free pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus (candid photos only, no professionals), holiday-themed pup activities like Snowball Sniff & Seek, the Hotdog Present Challenge and a holiday obstacle course. You can also shop from pup-friendly vendors and create a Lick Art Ornament to take home.
Breakfast with Santa is available by reservation while supplies last!
Important Info: Well-mannered, leashed dogs are welcome. Please ensure your pup is vaccinated and pottied before entering. A signed release is required at the entrance. Activities are at your own risk and while supplies last.

Classic Broadmoor Holiday Show
December 13, 14, 20, 21 and 24, 2024
The Broadmoor's Classic Holiday Show is a family-friendly dinner show filled with seasonal favorites presented in a variety show format, sprinkled with a few surprises. Back by popular demand, singer Debby Boone returns to headline! Joining Boone are Broadway star Marcus Lovett and his daughter, Cathryn Lovett, the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale and Ken Miller and The Broadmoor Pops Orchestra.
Dates: December 13, 14, 20, 21 and 24, 2024
Time: Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. and entertainment begins at 8:00 p.m.
