Whether you’re gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian or vegan, there are plenty of places in the Pikes Peak Region that provide allergy-friendly options. Traveling can be hard when you have dietary restrictions, but luckily Colorado Springs has everything from dairy-free pizza, gluten-free cupcakes and even a vegan fast food drive-thru. We’ve put a list together of some of the best restaurants, cafes and coffee shops that go above and beyond to satisfy your tastebuds, without missing out.

THE BURROWING OWL
This adorable hidden gem features a 100% vegan menu offering delicious items like spicy mac and cheese, sloppy joes, stuffed burritos and chocolate cake. Wash it down with a craft beer or cocktail. Gluten-free options, including beers and ciders!

LOLLEY'S ICE CREAM
Made in house with natural ingredients, Lolley's ice cream shop truly is as scrumpdillylolleylicious as promised. The shop is located in the heart of downtown Monument, Colorado. None of the products at Lolley's contain wheat or gluten. This includes waffle cones, graham cracker crumbles, cookies, brownies and ALL of the ice cream flavors (yes, even Birthday Cake, Cookies and Cream and Cookie Dough!). There are also incredible vegan options and an array of seasonal flavors throughout the year.

LUCHALS
Have a hankering for soulfood? Luchals is serving it up gluten free. Located in COATI food hall, Luchals brings all the vibes and none of the gluten. This means gluten-free crab cakes, fried catfish, wings, fried calamari and so much more. There are a couple of menu items that contain gluten, so cross contamination is possible.

MOCHI THAI'M DONUTS
These made-fresh donuts are not only fried and glazed per order – they also happen to be gluten free. All of them. Enjoy eight regular flavors ranging from cookies n creme to ube glazed, or check out the weekly featured flavors. They also have slushees, smoothies and fruit teas with boba.

MONSE’S PUPUSERIA
Get a taste of El Salvador with fluffy pupusas, crispy flautas, mouth-watering tacos and tamales. 100% gluten-free using corn mesa. Vegan options are also available, including vegan soyrizo, virria vegan, vegan soy curds, vegan jackfruit and vegan queso.

PORKBUTT BBQ
What started out as just a food truck has now opened up into a brick and mortar restaurant as well! The good news: both are dedicated gluten free. That means you can enjoy delicious meats, sandwiches, fried chicken and sides like mac-n-cheese and cornbread – ALL sans gluten. Don't forget the slice of pie, bourbon banana pudding and apple spice cake for dessert.

SANTANA’S VEGAN GRILL
Have you ever heard of a vegan fast-food drive-thru?! Look no further than right here in Colorado Springs. Offering vegan burgers, "chicken" strips, mozzarella sticks, sandwiches, breakfast, desserts and more.

SWEET ELIZABETH'S ORGANICS
Sweet Elizabeth's specializes in gluten-free baked goods without losing the taste and texture in the process. The bakery and café is serving up favorite goods like bread, donuts, cinnamon rolls, cakes, pies, sandwiches and much more. Vegan menu also available! The facility is a top 9 allergen free facility (except for coconut).

TAPATERIA
100% gluten-free tapas? Count us in! Tapateria has one of the best charcuterie boards in town. Spanish, local tapas complement 40 wines, sherries, ports and imported and craft beers for the ideal noshing experience. Vegetarian options as well!

THE EXCHANGE
Our love for The Exchange will never fade. Their delicious array of freshly baked items always includes plenty of gluten-free and vegan choices like breads, muffins and scones. The food menu includes plenty of gluten free options. There are also lots of vegan options like a vegan breakfast bowl, cluckless chicken sandwich and crispy tofu banh mi. Don't forget about the incredible coffee and drink menu.

FH BEERWORKS
One reason we love FH Beerworks is because they have TWO flagship gluten-free beverages – the raspberry blonde beer and pink lemonade seltzer. They also have an on-site food truck, 1231 Craft Kitchen, that has gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

GARDEN OF THE GODS MARKET + CAFÉ
A beautiful interior complements a fresh menu at this brunch hot spot. Insider tip – they have gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options! Including a "vegetarian green chili" that checks all three of those boxes.

GREAT WOLF LODGE
Great Wolf Lodge is more than happy to assist with any dietary needs. Their culinary team does not use or serve peanuts or peanut-based products in any of the Great Wolf Lodge branded restaurants to help avoid a common food allergen, and they have separate allergy-free prep areas that are utilized when preparing meals for guests with dietary restrictions. Any allergy can be accommodated for.

ODYSSEY GASTROPUB
As if we needed another excuse to obsess over Odyssey, their menu can accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets. This includes their incredible brunch menu!

OLA JUICE BAR
Cold pressed juice, plant-based food, fresh smoothies and acai bowls – Ola is as refreshing as it sounds. All smoothies and acai bowls are gluten free, all food options come vegan friendly and items can be customized accordingly.

POOR RICHARD'S
We'll give you three reasons to head to Poor Richard's Restaurant: 1. Gluten-free pizzas. 2. Vegetarian pizzas. 3. Vegan pizzas. And each one is just as good as the other, all sold by the slice or as full pies. There's also great bowls, pasta, soups, salads and tapas.

RED GRAVY
Red Gravy has probably the best gluten-free pasta on this side of the Mississippi. Maybe even beyond. Not only that, there are also gluten-free pizza options and plenty of vegetarian options.

STREETCAR520
With its sleek interior, craft cocktails and internationally-inspired menu, this is one hip restaurant that you need to check out. Offering vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Be sure to order the house-cut fries with curry dipping sauce (vegetarian + gluten free!).

THE UTE RESTAURANT
Located at CityROCK climbing gym, The Ute is a spot you don't want to miss out on with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The P-nut Butta Pie happens to be vegan AND gluten-free...and it's to die for.
