Reaching the top of America’s most visited mountain has never been easier or more exciting thanks to these daily, scenic tours offered by local tour operators — each a great alternative to hiking, driving, or cycling your way to the summit along Pikes Peak Highway.

1. Pikes Peak Shuttle Service
Guests seeking an unparalleled journey to one of Colorado's most iconic peaks can now secure their shuttle spot by visiting www.drivepikespeak.com. Passengers can park at mile 7 on the Pikes Peak Highway for a guided tour to the summit at their reserved time. Along the ascent, guests will be treated to a narrated tour, unveiling the rich history and natural wonders of Pikes Peak.
Upon reaching the summit at 14,115 feet, travelers can explore at their leisure before catching a shuttle back down to their starting point. With round trips anticipated to take approximately 80 minutes, Pikes Peak recommends allocating 3.5 hours to immerse oneself in the mountain's majesty fully.
Please note that only service animals are permitted on board, and bicycles, fishing gear, and ski equipment are prohibited. For guests requiring ADA accommodations, services are available to ensure a comfortable and inclusive journey.

2. Adventures Out West
Tours are offered for individuals and groups. Guests can choose from Jeep, Hummer or van tours, each holding up to six passengers. Adventures Out West offers two morning departures as well as custom tours. Price per person includes tours, all fees for the highway, wool lap blankets, refreshments, a direct pass for the summit and 100 miles' worth of views. 3. Rocky Mountain Ride
Rocky Mountain Ride's smaller vans accommodate up to 8 passengers, with larger vans able to seat up to 12 passengers, making these scenic shuttle tours an ideal option for large families or groups. The shuttles provide roundtrip transportation for sightseers, as well as one way trips down the mountain for hikers who opted to reach the summit by foot. Tour prices include highway toll fees. 4. Mountain Jeep Tours
This personalized tour begins and ends in Old Colorado City and is among Mountain Jeep Tours' most popular tours in the spring, summer and fall. The tour will make several stops at points of interest during the journey so that passengers can take pictures and soak in the views. Once at the summit, enjoy breathtaking views, taste world-famous donuts, and peruse the souvenir shop at the Summit Visitor Center before heading back down the mountain.
