In honor of Black Business Month in August, we compiled an itinerary for some of our city's greatest spots!

Drip Queen Coffee – Drip Queen Coffee has a retail space and lounge located in Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs, featuring smooth jazz, coffee and tea. The business also does cold brew coffee delivery and can be delivered right to your door via Postmates. They frequently host Military Meet-Ups and other events to help connect with the community. The coffee is ethically sourced, organically grown fair trade.
Want more? Check out Caffeinated Cow! This coffee and ice cream shop is located on the west side of town off 8th street. The menu features the "Caffeinated Cow," which is a latte with a scoop of ice cream. They also serve sandwiches, pastries, bagels and more.
Beauty Bar – This salon and spa has two locations (Downtown and east Colorado Springs), plus a third medspa location off InterQuest up north. Experience services like hair, nails, waxing, facials and more while enjoying a fully-stocked bar.

The Mactory Gourmet Mac N Cheese – Located just west of Downtown Colorado Springs, the Mactory features delicious takes on this favorite comfort food, such as chili mac, angry buffalo, birria, lobster and more.
Want more? Check out Pho King Wing! This spot is located on the east side of town, featuring a medley of dishes ranging from classic Vietnamese pho to burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, nachos, wings and fried catfish.
Blackpackers Group Hike – Blackpackers is a nonprofit helping to meet those at the intersection of underrepresentation and economic vulnerability. The organization has programs for camping, climbing, hiking, skiing, swimming, backpacking and more. Explore events like group hikes!

Luchals – With two locations (one in COATI in Downtown Colorado Springs and another in Fountain) this Southern-inspired restaurant boasts gluten-free fried food that includes fried green tomatoes, crab fries, wings, fried catfish and more.

Ultra Flat Black Gallery – Ultra Flat Black is a graffiti gallery and lounge in Old Colorado City that hosts events to celebrate local art. Open mic nights take place on Tuesdays, Arthur Bellfield hosts regular Colorado Springs Slam Poetry events and there are frequent dance classes, socials, art shows and more.
