Overview
The oldest operating hotel in the state of Colorado (1874.) Travel + Leisure Magazine's "Top 100 Hotels of the World." 10 minutes west from downtown Colorado Springs. In July 1999 The Cliff House at Pikes Peak reopened after an extensive award winning $12 million dollar renovation. The facade is Queen Anne Victorian yet internally the hotel is state-of-the-art. Each of our 54 rooms and suites has its own decor and identity. Our Celebrity Suites are reflective of the dignitaries who have stayed with us including: Clark Gable, Teddy Roosevelt, P.T. Barnum, Henry Ford, Buffalo Bill Cody, and Thomas Edison. Spa tubs, steam showers, heated towel bars and toilet seats, imported European lotions and soaps, brass and marble lined bathrooms, fireplaces are a few of our room features. HBO and free movies are also available to our guests with a complimentary light breakfast buffet every morning. The Cliff House has three ADA certified rooms. The entire property (with the exception of a few guestrooms) is wheelchair accessible. The terrain surrounding the property is concrete sidewalk, and the interior is carpet and hardwood. The fire alarms in the common areas and ADA guestrooms are connected to flashing lights.
