Overview
Magic Town: Located in the heart of Old Colorado City, The Michael Garman Museum & Gallery houses Michael Garman's unique sculptural theater - Magic Town. This miniature city, built at 1:6th scale, depicts the gritty neighborhoods of Michael Garman's past - when he lived as a self-described vagabond, hitchhiking from town to town.
Magic Town includes hundreds of original characters in intricately detailed buildings & brownstones, missions, back alleys and hotels. Watch the movie Casablanca playing at Crown Theater. Listen to the proprietor of Ruthies Café tell stories of Magic Town's inhabitants. There are holograms that heckle you as you pass, and mirrored illusions that make entire alleyways transform right before your eyes. Open 7 days/week, your Magic Town admission includes a complimentary scavenger hunt.
