Great park in the center of Colorado Springs. Incredible views of Pikes Peak and the foothills. The fenced-in off-leash area is a converted baseball field. Some seating, bag dispenser and water dispenser in the summer. A second off-leash area is accessible only by trail - use parking lot #24.
Trailhead Directions:
Travel on North Academy Blvd. to Maizeland Road. Head west for 1/4 mile to Paseo Road on you right. Enter Palmer Park here. This is a very large City park with hiking and biking trails, dog parks, picnic areas, overlooks, etc. Travel along Paseo Road until you find the trail or area of your choice.
