The Pancake Rocks Trail begins at a closed tunnel along Highway 67 and rewards you with aspens in high meadows, great views of Sentinel Rock, and of course, the famous pancake shaped rock formations.
Trailhead Directions:
Travel west on Highway 24 for 25 miles to State Highway 67 South in Divide. Turn left onto State Highway 67 South towards Cripple Creek and go approximately 9.30 miles to the trailhead. There will be a closed tunnel on your left or east side of the road. The parking area is a gravel turnout area near the entrance of the closed tunnel.
