Overview
UpaDowna is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Pikes Peak Region since 2013 by providing free, donation-based, and discounted outdoor programs to educate our community and provide outdoor adventures for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Our mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all through events and programs that empower individuals, create healthier communities, and foster a respect for the environment. UpaDowna's programs and events are geared towards individuals who are new to the outdoors, looking to develop their current skillset, facing uphill battles getting outdoors, and those who simply want to find camaraderie among those with similar outdoor passions. In alignment with our mission, our purpose is to provide experiences in the outdoors that promote a welcoming and safe environment and to build an inclusive and accessible outdoor community.
From hiking, biking, climbing, standup paddelboarding, and wellness classes there are endless opportunities to unleash your adventure! Check our website for upcoming programs and events!
Looking to host a private group event? UpaDowna hosts group standup paddelboarding (SUP) and climbing adventures. Contact info@upadowna.org for more information.
