28th Annual Esther Geoffrey Scholarship Competition

We are thrilled to announce the 28th Esther Geoffrey Scholarship Competition here in Colorado Springs! The 2025 competition is open to Int. and Adv. dancers aged 12-18. The competition will be part of masterclasses presented by SALT Contemporary Dance of Salt Lake City, UT.

Throughout the years, we have awarded over $54,000 in scholarships to deserving young dancers. These awards provide assistance to young dancers to pay for dance instruction in summer intensive programs, private instruction, or continuing instruction in their home studios. Payment is directly to the studio or instructional facility chosen by the winner.

Winners are selected based on outstanding individual technical proficiency and performance potential, not on studio affiliation. Judges include a panel of professional dancers and unaffiliated instructors.
