Cañon City Music & Blossom Festival
The Cañon City Blossom Festival is four days full of a variety of events and fun featuring music, rodeo, 5K run and much more! The festival is the city's largest and continues to grow in popularity every year.
Held annually on the first weekend in May, the Cañon City Music & Blossom Festival provides nationally recognized competitions for elementary, junior high and high school bands in marching, jazz band, and orchestral music.
A two-hour parade on Saturday through downtown Canon City provides a great time for everyone, while the carnival, craft fairs, rodeo, free concerts and other community events fill the weekend with fun.

Blossom Ball — April 27
Don't miss the 2nd Annual Blossom Ball! This year's theme is "Run for the Roses," in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Kentucky Derby. Be ready to don your best derby attire, sip mint juleps, and dance the night away!
86th Annual Cañon City Music & Blossom Festival Parade - May 4.
This year's theme is "Return of the Blossoms." Enjoy marching bands, floats, food and tons of fun for the whole family. The parade is held between 3rd and 14th streets on Canon City’s Main Street.

RunBlossom 5K — May 4
Join the competitive wave for a fast-paced 5K course with traditional age group awards. This wave starts bright and early at 8:00 am. Or, for a more relaxed pace, join the '5K Jog/Walk + YETI' wave at 8:45 am. All waves start and end at Centennial park in downtown Cañon City, Colorado. All bibbed individuals must complete the race under their own power (unless registered in the Rider category). If pushed in a stroller, children may NOT have a bib and compete for age-level awards.
