The Cripple Creek Ice Festival amazes spectators of all ages with ingenious and grand displays of wintery fun. Occurring for the first time in three years, previous event themes featured a Mythological Wonderland, Renaissance, the Old West, and Under the Sea. Vote for your favorite ice sculpture, engaging in this event's festivities. Bring your little ones and create some chilly fun with ice slides, mazes, and more. Whether you're looking for family-friendly things to do during the colder months or seeking an icy spin on a romantic date, this festival is a marvelous seasonal attraction for winter enthusiasts and local residents alike.

Watch the live Carver vs Carver competitions, admiring detailed works of art during this winter festival. Running from Saturday, February 17 to Sunday, February 25, the ice sculptures will be on display every day. Battle of the Blade competitions will be held on each Saturday at 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Ice sculpting artists will mold their art pieces in a stadium-like setting, competing for winnings such as cash prizes and a People's Choice award. The best carving leagues from around the U.S. will be creating awe-inspiring ice sculptures during this event.
Dive into kid-friendly fun through interacting with ice sculptures and strolling through an array of local businesses. Food and Retail vendors will be open on February 17th, 18th, 19th (President's Day), 25th and 26th. Indulge in savory and sweet treats from a variety of food booths, taking a bite into the Pikes Peak Region's culinary scene. Sip on refreshing drinks at an ice bar, becoming immersed in the festival's cozy ambience. Wander through a lively atmosphere and spot one-of-a-kind treasures from local vendors.
