Artist's Statement:
"It is not so strange to represent people with animals. From folklore, to mythology, religion and astrology, we’ve been connecting with animals since the dawn of time. We find kindred spirits in animals. We’re told we have the social values of a wolf, the sleep patterns of a bear, that we’re water signs, and have tokens and charms in nature. We respect animals as if they’re friends. It’s something most of us can agree on; in a time when agreement can be especially challenging. The things we can universally find commonality in can be difficult. Beer can serve as a mode of connection, difference in taste, celebration, respect, and enjoyment — just like our love and appreciation for animals.
In true Colorado form, this concept includes a wolf, Blucifer the horse, a bass, and a goose; all donned in common Colorado-Starter-Pack attire."
