Mobile Blue Hands: Contemporary Fiber Art Lecture and Indigo Dyeing
We're teaming up with the Blue Hands Collective to host a Mobile Blue Hands event that combines the artistry of indigo dyeing with an educational lecture.
This event is perfect for both beginners and those with experience in textile arts.
What to Expect:
Hands-On Indigo Dyeing: Participants will have the opportunity to create their own indigo-dyed fabrics using traditional techniques.
Informative Lecture: "Contemporary Indigo and Fiber Artists" presented by Naomi J. Falk
All Materials Provided: All necessary materials for dyeing will be provided, including fabrics, gloves, and dyeing tools. Registration for event includes (3) tea towels. You may also bring an old t shirt or a pair of pants that needs some refreshing.
