'Culture Obsession' and 'Forever Moonlighting'
March 9, 2025 12:00 PM –4:00 PM
Event Summary
Culture Obsession
"I am fascinated by the intersection of art, fashion, and culture. My Air Jordan shoe paintings are a celebration of the iconic designs that have become an integral part of sneakerhead culture. Through bold aerosol and vivid colors, I aim to capture the energy and nostalgia surrounding these beloved shoes. Each painting is a testament to the enduring power of streetwear and the artistic expression it inspires. By reimagining these shoes as art, I invite viewers to reconsider their relationship with everyday objects and the cultural significance they hold."
- Artist Fred Legarda.
