The Colorado Springs School's Upper School Theater Department proudly presents Nick Dear's adaptation of "Frankenstein," a compelling reimagining of Mary Shelley's timeless masterpiece. Performances will be held November 15-17 at the Louisa Performing Arts Center.
Nick Dear's modern adaptation, which premiered at London's National Theatre in 2011, brings a fresh perspective to Shelley's exploration of humanity, creation, and responsibility. This production challenges audiences to consider profound questions about morality, scientific ethics, human nature, and the consequences of unchecked ambition.
The student performers have dedicated months to bringing this sophisticated piece to life, diving deep into the complex themes and characters that have captivated audiences for over two centuries.
