Event Summary
To find water hiking in the high country, it takes using all your senses. First you see a patch of dense green tucked away in the distance under twisted bristlecone pines against red dirt. As you get closer, your nose twitches. The air feels softer and slightly cooler as wildflowers start to rub against your boots. A few steps further on and then you hear it: gentle burbles and a sigh of water, a miracle in the Colorado outback.
