Holiday Evening at Rock Ledge Ranch

Rock Ledge Ranch will be transformed with the sights, sounds, and aromas of this traditionally festive season! The evening features St. Nicholas in the Barn, wagon rides, old-time musical entertainment, 1860s Homestead Cabin storytelling, Blacksmith Shop demonstrations, Victorian celebrations in the 1880s Rock Ledge House, and Edwardian festivities in the 1907 Orchard House. Purchase those extra special Ranch-made gifts at the General Store! Hot cider, cocoa, and other sweet treats will be available at several locations around the Ranch. Dive into the holiday season with this spectacular program featuring both vocal and instrumental gems from 18th century Italy. Hear the famous Corelli Christmas Concerto as well as works by the great Italian masters brought to life by Colorado Springs’ only professional period instrument ensemble. All pieces will be performed on period instruments and with a true baroque repertoire. Glen Eyrie Castle is also offering an optional Buffet dinner in the Castle Dining Room between the two concerts. Santa Express Train

This year, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad is introducing the ALL NEW Santa Express Train holiday locomotive, which will lead the train through the Royal Gorge to the North Pole and back. It’s an absolute holiday masterpiece and will delight children of all ages. During the journey, you and your family are welcome to order and enjoy lunch or dinner, as well as your favorites from our full bar, while we make our way through the Royal Gorge to pick up St. Nick. Once the guest of honor boards the train, Santa will greet every child and give each of them a very special gift.

Festival of Lights Holiday Celebration at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum

Make the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum part of your family’s holiday tradition! The Museum has teamed up with UCHealth to bring the residents of Olympic City, USA a day of fun!
Prior to the annual Festival of Lights Parade that takes place in downtown Colorado Springs, the Museum will be hosting a Festival of Lights holiday celebration. From noon until 5 pm, the Museum will have athlete meet & greets, a beer garden, indoor curling, artifact demonstrations and even service puppies.
And that’s not all! To make your holiday visit a little sweeter, Museum regular admission tickets have been lowered to just $10 all day! And in the adjacent parking lot, the Park Union District will have a holiday tree farm and various activations along Sierra Madre Street and Vermijo Avenue.

Welcome to The North Pole-Santa’s Workshop, an enchanting vintage amusement park nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Home to Santa’s Village and the jolly man himself – the spirit of Christmas lives on all year long here at The North Pole.
Dates: Holiday Season: November - December 24, 2024. Peak days are weekends in November & December and holiday weeks. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday except Holiday weeks.
Times: Vary on peak vs. non-peak days. The last wristband sold at 3:30 p.m. All rides close at 4:20 p.m. during the Holiday season.

The Trails and Open Space Coalition (TOSC) Social Club will be hosting the 1st (hopefully annual) Twinkle Trek! This will be a stroll to see holiday lights that will start at Vista Park in Banning Lewis Ranch, then follow the regional trails to see lights around the neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to wear glow sticks, battery-operated lights or anything else that is festive. This will be an easy walk that is less than 2 miles with minimal elevation gain.

The U.S. Air Force Academy Band presents its highly anticipated annual holiday concert “Holly & Ivy" at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts. The concert will feature classic holiday music and exciting new works, virtuosic soloists, and eclectic small group arrangements. For more than 60 years, the band has used the power of music to honor our nation’s heroes, inspire Air Force personnel and the nation they serve, produce innovative musical programs and products, and communicate Air Force excellence to millions around the world. Beginning November 30th, each Saturday the patio will transform into a holiday market filled
with local vendors selling unique gifts and seasonal treasures, perfect for holiday shopping. The event will also feature songs & stories with Santa inside the lodge and free caroling hayrides that depart once an hour. A holiday drink menu for both adults and kids will warm spirits, complemented by seasonal treats from local food trucks.
Local artisans and vendors are encouraged to participate, with limited vendor space available. Interested vendors can contact events.bicycleresort@gmail.com to secure their spot. The fee is $50 whether vendors participate in one, or all five, holiday markets.

The Broadmoor's annual Holiday Show is a family-friendly dinner show filled with seasonal favorites presented in a variety show format, sprinkled with a few surprises. Back by popular demand, singer Debby Boone returns to headline. Joining Boone are Broadway star Marcus Lovett and his daughter, Cathryn Lovett; the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale; and Ken Miller and The Broadmoor Pops Orchestra.
