The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is proud to be hosting the annual Easter Sunrise Service. This iconic landmark will be the backdrop for a beautiful and inspiring celebration of renewal and hope. Guests will gather in the morning darkness on the south rim of the gorge, where they will witness the day’s awakening over the majestic Sangre de Cristo Mountain range. The sun is expected to rise at 6:34 a.m., just as the service begins.
Celebrating Easter on the rim of the Royal Gorge has been a decades-long tradition for Park. The free sunrise service attracts guests from all over the state to sing worship songs and hear the Easter message as the sun rises on the granite walls of the gorge. All faiths and denominations are welcome to attend.
The North entrance (main gate) will open at 5:30 a.m. Guests will either need to walk across the bridge or take the park shuttle which will be available until 6:20 a.m. Free coffee will be served before the service. Seating will be provided for 400. Patrons are encouraged to dress warmly and bring blankets and lawn chairs if needed.

We will be offering a selection from Joseph Martin's "Harvest of Sorrows" to tell the tale of Jesus' final days, along with some other pieces of work to celebrate his resurrection. The concert is FREE with a goodwill offering, however, you must reserve your seat.

Find the "Easter Eggs" throughout the Western Museum of Mining & Industry and receive a prize! Egg hunt is available during museum hours. The hunt is designed for children 12 and under, and is included with your regular museum admission.
"Easter Eggs" will be inside the museum, and if weather permits--outside on the beautiful WMMI campus as well.
