Event Summary
EllyBlue, Stella & Beau, and The Squash Blossom will host local authors during the Christmas Stroll in Old Colorado City.
Authors Kevin J. Anderson, Rebecca Moesta, Heather Kindt, Steve Ruskin and Mark Stallings will be signing their books at our stores. We'll also be giving out a punch card to encourage guests to stroll to each of our stores and visit each author. Turn in a full punch card into any of our participating stores for a chance to win a gift bag of goodies worth $100!
Kevin J. Anderson has published more than 190 books, fifty-eight of which have been national or international bestsellers. He has written numerous novels in the Star Wars, X-Files, and Dune universes, as well as the unique Clockwork Angels steampunk trilogy with legendary Rush drummer Neil Peart. His original works include the Saga of Seven Suns series, the Wake the Dragon and Terra Incognita fantasy trilogies, humorous Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series and The Dragon Business series.
Rebecca Moesta is the bestselling author of forty books, both solo and in collaboration with her husband, Kevin J. Anderson. Her solo work includes A Christmas to Remember (based on the Hallmark tv movie by the same name), Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Junior Jedi Knights novels, short stories, articles, ghost writing, and editing anthologies.
Award-winning author Heather Kindt lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and two fur babies, Maggie and Bruno. When she’s not writing, she’s teaching fourth grade, hiking, skiing, reading, and cheering for the best team on earth: the Denver Broncos. She loves traveling and strives to include a sense of place in her stories.
Steve Ruskin writes thrillers with a hint of magic, and science fiction with a streak of rebellion.
Mark Stallings writes Wuxia, Fantasy, Thrillers and Military Sci Fi. He's been in Colorado since he was a young teenager. Currently, he lives in the foothills of Pikes Peak with his wife, two children and various dogs and cats. He has a background in technology having founded several tech companies centering around human machine interfaces.
