Music Monday: All-ages Jazz Jam Session hosted by Trombonist Mark Burditt

Trombonist Mark Burditt began his professional career as a staff musician at Walt Disney World. Mark joined the Air Force Academy Band in 1990 as jazz trombonist with the Falconaires. During his 30-year career as an Air Force musician, he performed extensively throughout the United States, Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe, including as a featured soloist with the Orchestra of the Armed Forces of Croatia.

Closer to home, Mark has performed with Denver’s premier salsa band ‘Conjunto Colores’, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Pikes Peak Brass Band, Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, and served as jazz trombone instructor at Colorado College and the University of Colorado, Boulder.

This all-ages jam session: Prepare a jazz standard or two and come and sit-in at the Armadillo Ranch. (This is NOT an open-mic, please come prepared). Presented by Tidal Breeze Jazz Arts and so-sponsored by The Armadillo Ranch and the Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society.
