'The Lost Years' - A Short Play Festival

Event Summary
In late 2024, we asked Colorado-based playwrights who lived here during that time to reflect on the start, the virulent period, and the end of COVID-19 and to submit 10-minute long short plays. We are thrilled by the amount of submissions. We have selected six very fine short plays which are directed by five local directors and played by seventeen actors from Colorado Springs.
The show will include original poetry, dance and music. We will also feature two slide shows showcasing the work of Allison Daniell and Lauren McKenzie, two professional photographers who captured intimate moments of the pandemic. The MAT will take the audience on a journey that recaps the many memories, feelings and discombobulations that we shared and yet experienced very differently.
