Alex Odnoralov is an artist based in Denver, Colorado. He majored in design but has since pursued his passion in art. In his work, he strives to capture the fleeting beauty of the natural world through the timeless medium of oil paint. His focus is primarily on Western landscapes, where the rugged terrain and vast skies offer endless opportunities to explore the interplay of light, shadow, and form. He believes light is the soul of the landscape—its ever-changing quality reflects both the passage of time and the intangible essence of the world around us. While he works within a representational style, he aims to keep my brushwork loose and intuitive, allowing the painting to retain a sense of movement and life. For him, the goal is not just to depict a scene, but to evoke the emotion and atmosphere that light imparts, making each moment feel both immediate and timeless.
