Mark your calendar for film festivals in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region
“Dreama Team” is a documentary by Steve Vanderheide and Chad Weberabout about ultrarunner and Colorado Springs native, Dreama Walton, who wins the opportunity to run in America’s oldest 100-mile race: The Western States 100. It is the story of determination and the struggles one must overcome to realize the dream. The full-length film will premiere at the Ent Center for the Arts at UCCS on Wednesday, July 5 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online for $17 each.
INDIE SPIRIT FILM FESTIVAL
Colorado Short Circuit is a 2-day event featuring Award Winning shorts from Colorado Independent Filmmakers. Featuring films from Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Denver, Colorado Short Circuit showcases short films from across our region. Each hour-long film block features a collection of short films and a Q&A session with the featured filmmakers.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL
The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival is the longest-running women's film festival in North America. The festival showcases documentaries, narrative shorts and animated films that are thought-provoking and enriching, and that encourage global awareness and personal growth. The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival honors films and filmmakers that present the world as women experience it and that inspire curiosity, educate, entertain, and stimulate conversation.
