Colorado Springs Visitor Information Center Begins Renovation
Visit Colorado Springs has temporarily moved in preparation for Visitor Information Center expansion and updates
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Visit Colorado Springs today announced plans to renovate its Visitor Information Center and offices. On Monday, March 9, the Visitor Information Center and offices temporarily relocated across the street to 524 S. Cascade Ave, Suite 7. Visit COS will occupy the north side of the building, closest to ANB Bank.
The renovation will include a 3x larger Visitor Information Center, optimized use of space, enhanced exterior and more digital/interactive information.
“Visit COS is dedicated to serving the city’s incredible visitors and community with the most up-to-date information and resources,” said Doug Price, President & CEO of Visit COS. “We’re excited to announce our renovation, which will allow us to keep up with the rapid growth of downtown Colorado Springs and better serve the growing number of visitors to the region.”
From the new restaurants in the Trolley Building to the upcoming openings of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum and Downtown Stadium, the southside of downtown Colorado Springs is blossoming and attracting new visitors daily. With an exciting year of new attractions, restaurant openings and events, Colorado Springs is continuing to gain more media attention. It was recently ranked #13 on the New York Times’ “52 Places” list as well as #10 on TripAdvisor’s “Trending Destinations in the U.S.” list.
The fresh space will allow Colorado Springs to show visitors the best the city has to offer and ensure they have an amazing experience. Visit Colorado Springs will provide updates on the progress of the renovation and plans for opening the renovated space in the coming months.
