Dina Worthen Wins Destination Colorado 2021 Peak Performer Award
Award recognizes stellar work in the meeting and group industry
December 10, 2021 – Colorado Springs, Colo. – On December 7, VCOS Senior Sales Manager Dina Worthen was awarded the 2021 Peak Performer Individual of the Year award at the 25th annual Colorado Meetings Showcase by Destination Colorado Meetings. Brady Johnson, the organization’s president for 2022-2023, presented Worthen with the award.
Destination Colorado is a collaborative state-wide marketing association that caters to meeting planners and incentive buyers by promoting Colorado as a premier meetings destination. The Peak Performer of the Year awards are given to members in recognition of their leadership and commitment to promoting the meeting and group industry on behalf of the entire state of Colorado.
“It was such a surprise to win the award, and it’s an honor to be recognized,” said Worthen. “I believe in the mission of Destination Colorado Meetings and enjoy working hard to keep the ship moving in the right direction.”
Worthen was chosen for her professionalism, commitment and willingness to go above and beyond in supporting her peers and the organization.
