Visit Colorado Springs Launches Peak Into COS Podcast
Each episode features one of the region’s “hospitality heroes”
Colorado Springs, Colo. – February 16, 2022 – This week, Visit Colorado Springs is releasing episode 1 of its brand-new podcast, Peak Into COS.
Hosted by VCOS President & CEO Doug Price, Peak Into COS dives into the stories of the Pikes Peak Region as told by those you might encounter at a local restaurant, shop, attraction, hotel or outdoor adventure.
“There are so many untold stories of the people in our local hospitality industry,” said Price. “Podcasting is a new, creative channel we will use to have deeper conversations and inspire both locals and visitors to get to know Olympic City USA in a new way.”
The first guest featured on Peak Into COS is local celebrity Chef Brother Luck. While many people are familiar with Brother Luck’s TV appearances on shows like Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay and Top Chef, this episode will take a closer “peak” into his journey taking over the local culinary scene and mentorship of budding business owners.
As part of a successful launch, VCOS joined Studio 809 Podcasts, a collective of podcast producers with locally based shows that include Outdoors with Hiking Bob, Elevating Pikes Peak Women and Pedal the Springs.
“We couldn’t have started this podcast without the support of Studio 809 Podcasts,” said Alexea Veneracion, Director of Communications at VCOS. “Running a podcast is a major undertaking and Studio 809 simplifies the process by providing resources, education and a like-minded community to ensure success.”
Listeners can tune into Peak Into COS on the VCOS website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts.
