No matter what type of girl you are and how you prefer to unwind - outdoor adventure, stunning scenery or some quality time with your besties - here are some great activities you and the ladies can enjoy together in the Colorado Springs region.

Day 1

Morning

Brunch is a must to power up for an unforgettable adventure in the Rockies. Award-winning stops and even Food Network-featured places include Urban Egg or King’s Chef Diner. Work off the calories with a tee time on one of the scenic courses like Valley Hi or Patty Jewett.

Afternoon/Evening

Take a horseback ride through the gorgeous Garden of the Gods Park and hear the tales of the native people who considered this national natural landmark sacred ground. There’s nothing quite like seeing the sunset behind the red rock spires that perfectly frame Pikes Peak - America’s Mountain.

Day 2

Morning

Gear up for a day full of fun and adventure. First, take a women-only climbing clinic with the knowledgeable guides of Front Range Climbing Company. Ascend or repel the rock formations in North Cheyenne Canon. Other ways to get the heart pumping include zip lining near charming Manitou Springs or watching the sun light the city and mountains from a hot air balloon.

Afternoon

Discover some of the area’s history while seeking the unique sculptures of Art on the Streets scattered throughout downtown Colorado Springs or an educational and tasty experience with Colorado Springs Food Tours. Make sure to stop into the shopping district of Old Colorado City for a trinket to bring home.

Evening

Sip and swirl some of the state’s best vines at the Winery at Pikes Peak, Wines of Colorado or Winery at Holy Cross Abbey. Afterwards, enjoy live music and dancing in downtown Colorado Springs or a local performance at The Mezzanine, Millibo Art Theatre, Colorado Springs Philharmonic or Theatreworks.

Day 3

Morning

Stroll the halls of the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum or World Figure Skating Museum & Hall of Fame. If a morning of pampering is needed, enjoy a relaxing massage or pedicure at a local salon.

Afternoon

Feel like royalty with a true Victorian High Tea complete with scones, clotted cream and beverages worth writing home about at Glen Eyrie Castle, Miramont Castle, The Broadmoor or McAllister House Museum.

Evening

Get all dolled up to experience some of the best dining in the state at places like Carlos’ Bistro, The Broadmoor restaurants, The Famous Steakhouse, MacKenzie’s Chophouse or The Peppertree. Dessert is a must, maybe even more than one, with offerings from Patsy’s Candies or Glacier Homemade Ice Cream & Gelato.
